Well look at that, we got a Zune Phone …

Admit it, deep down, you knew this was coming … it looks like Windows Phone 7 is going to be a Zune Phone

Again, this is not rumor anymore.  The specifics have been announced (heck, Engadget even offers a very impressive walkthrough) and this looks to be a winner.  There is a YouTube Commercial that we'll embed at the end of this as well - but those are supposed to look pretty.

Beta News also offers a great overview well worth your time and read.

Here at ZuneLuv, we say "long time coming."  What we see looks great, and we hope to see some more.  As luck were to have it, we're heading up to Redmond for the Zune MVP event so who knows, we might have more to tell soon.

What do you think?  Will you get one?  Is this an iPhone killer?

  • Wouldn't it be wonderful if they all just played Mpeg files and did not require things like iTunes and Window Media Player?

Until then I will stick with YouTube in by Chrome browser on my Android phone. Just like I did with MP3s going back 10 years ago. All my music still plays just like it did then.

When are big makers going to understand that we just want our stuff to work, not to just work on their machines?
