Zune HD = Nvidia Tegra Chip

This probably falls into the category of "no suprise" for any of the big fans, but it has been confirmed by Micrsoft that the new Zune HD will be sporting the very cool Nvidia Tegra Chip.

With all the press the iPhone 3GS is getting for her considerably faster chipset, it will be fascinating to see what the faster Nvidia Tegra chip will/can do to the video experience.

Remember, Microsoft is pushing hard the idea that we'll be hooking up these Zunes via the new HD Dock and playing on the big flatscreens. They need the power to make it look good.

And I think they got it.
