According to the good folk over at Gizmodo, the video card in the Zune HD (the Nvidia Tegra), is hot little chip that, in short, provides "better battery live and better video" on the Zune HD.

The videos we've seen floating around the net of production models sure do show a speed and zip that you just don't see on any other player right now.

This current rumor could explain that - and sure does wet the appetite for the Zune HD.
