We're Calling The "Zune Upgrade Plan" As Silly Rumor

Lots and lots and lots of buzz about a "Zune upgrade plan" that will allow current Zune customers to upgrade their older devices to one of the newer Zunes.  You can read all about it at the link in the first sentence.

We think this one is just silly.  We don't know all the details, but it seems pretty solid to believe that Micrsoft is coming out with a Zune HD device this fall.  "Upgrading" everyone a few months early seems a little silly.

Unless of course, there is something in the "new" software that won't work in/on the Zune 30s.

But, at this point, we're calling this one a silly rumor.
