So, What Have You Heard?

Personally, we're not giving the Xbox on the Zune rumors much attention - but sure would be cool, eh?

    How about some Linux support? I prefer the Zune to the ipod, but I do not use Windows. Microsoft would have to do nothing more than unlock the device so we can install our own software. I currently have an old computer with Windows installed on it, tucked in the corner of the basement that I only turn on once in a while to update/Sync my Zune. The ipod and mp3 players that support drag and drop are both able to interface with Linux. If you want to beat the ipod allow users the freedom to make choices with their Zunes. I know freedom of choice and options don't rank as a high priority at Microsoft, but I believe it would honestly help them sell the Zune. I've been a Linux user for a long time and hate Windows with a passion, but I believe the Zune to be good hardware. Imagine having a worldwide community of developers introducing new features for your device at no cost to your company.
