More on the Zune 30
What is the Zune 30? You might be asking yourself if this is the first time, and know exactly what I mean if you know.
The Zune 30 was the first "Zune" ever created and sold by Microsoft. It had a 30gb hard drive and came in several colors such as brown, white, or black. Several "limited edition" zunes came out after the inital launch in November of 2006. Those "limited edition" zunes were red, pink, and orange. In honor of Halo 3, Microsoft came out with a Halo 3 branded Zune player.
Now a red or orange zune would be quite interesting to me. Why? These are limited edition, meaning very few were made not to mention worth alot more. Me being a Halo fanatic should have seen this coming when they came out with the branded player, but I didn't. Not sure exactly what I was doing at the time (caught up in the hype maybe?), but this sparks an idea. Why not come out with more branded releases like this? Or different color schemes? A little press might do some good for sparking attention…
What was the one downfall with the Zune 30? I'll answer that in the next post, stay tuned guys…
