iPhone Gets Over The Air Podcast Downloads - When Will Zune?

So, the rumors have been coming in strongly about over the air Podcast downloads for the iPhone/iPod Touch.  We've been doing some research of our own on this topic and we can say with a 99% certainty that this rumor is true.

Now, we actually applaud this issue over here at ZuneLuv because it is going to do one very cool thing - force Zune to do the same thing.

We luv the Zune, obviously, but we also luv the fact that the Zune has forced REAL competition in the portable media player space.  Microsoft is playing catchup in many areas of the Zune and Apple, for the first time, has to answer the (very real) challenges Zune brings to the marketplace.

So, we regret to inform you that over the air Podcasts comes to the iPhone/iPod first but we can pretty much guarantee that this will force Microsoft to bring it to the Zune all the sooner.

And with that kind of competition, everyone wins.
