Zune 3.0 Releases Today … So, What Do You Think?
So, in case you haven't heard, the Zune 3.0 software release came out this morning.
Among other things, we now have Zune Games, Audiobook capability, wireless access to the Marketplace, Zune Channels and more.
It's a pretty overwhelming release.
We'll be detailing things over the next few days. If you want to read some additional content, the Techmeme thread is a great place to start.
But first, we want to start with you … what do you think of the new Zune release?

Think I'm going to pick one up — finally. The updates seem more evolutionary than revolutionary. I am glad that Podcasts remains on the home screen, even though it sounds like you can't update them through the wireless feature. Ultimately, however, I feel superficial because I'm disappointed they don't offer the blue color across the entire line.
I've got two Zunes - a 30mb that got the very first day Zune was available, and a Zune 80. Both upgraded to 3.0 perfectly, as have my two Vista PCs that I have the Zune software on. The Zune Pass is even a better value with the new features. I'm listening to Buddy Guy right now, which was a recommendation from the Zune software seeing that I've listened to a lot of B.B. King. I wouldn't trade my Zune and Zune Pass for five iPods.
Wow i have a zune 30 and the new update is awesome
I was testing it out and I could go into the marketplace on my zune and buy songs.
It also comes with Hexic and Texas Hold'em for zune.
The zune software runs A LOT faster after the upgrade. well at least for my computer. windows xp
Wow, the new firmware is perfect! the wireless configuration direct in the zune, the games! and is fast! i have the 30 GB version and work fine with me!

what's the point of the channels option? i dont even get what it does. someone help me out here
