A Microsoft "Universal Media Experience?"

Zune content doesn't work on your xBox (and vice versa), there are a number of DRM options for music that work on some element of our Windows systems. Nothing talks to each other within the products from Microsoft (sometimes sharing a single desk at my house). Wouldn't a Microsoft "Universal Media Experience" make a ton of sense? Do we honestly have any other choice?

I like the concept - I like the concept a lot.

Imagine if Zune worked with everything else in our house (and vice versa).
