Download First Zune Games - Here's How

If you want your first taste of Zune gaming, here is how you do it. Now, we warn you here - this ain't going to be easy.

But it should be a lot of fun.

The XNA 3.0 Games Studio "Community Technical Preview" comes with the ability to "test" Zune games on any Zune with the 2.5 upgrade (or better obviously).

Basically you use the system to put the games on your Zune, play them/test them on you Zune and then go from there.

And, yes, they come with some "demo" games. We've played 'em and, darn it, they're kinda fun.

No cost at this point and a fun look at where Zune Games are going.

Now remember, this is a bit of a "hack" as the real purpose for this product is to test the XNA system against a Zune. But, you smart Zune Luvers know what to do, don't you?

If you've done it, please report your results below. Which is your favorite game?

Every time i click on the .snl file in the RAR software it opens up in Microsoft Visual C# 2008 and says:
" One or more projects in the solution could not be loaded for the following reasons:
The project file or web has been moved, renamed or is not on your computer.
These projects will be labeled as unavailable in Solution Explorer. Expand the project node to show the reason the project could not be loaded."

I couldn't really figure out how to play the worms game on the zune. tetris is ok, there are a couple of good applications. I like the clock on it. you can still listen to music in your playlists while you have the clock app running. there are a couple others too that are good. Overall, the ability to play games on the zune at all is a big feat. It's cool to be one of the handfull of people to be able to know how to do that.

P.S. anyone looking on how to put games onto their zune can go to zuneboards.com or go to the zune.net forum section and there's a link on where to go to start getting games. Have fun and pass this info around and maybe people will make more games and expand on the possibilities that zune holds. ZUNE RULES!!!!

My favorite game is tetris. Never gets old. What are these demo's you are talking about. From Microsoft? If so, where?
