This news came via Electronista who goes on to point out that this ain't even close to iPod's numbers.

Whereas Electronista might think it news that king of the portable media players is Apple, we like to point out that #2, (of which Apple is everywhere else) is heralded by many as not a bad place to be at all.

We love you Zune - here's to 2 million more.
