Can Rhapsody Support Zune?

We get this question a lot - Can Rhapsody support Zune?

The answer is no, but no in a good way.

See, the Rhapsody program is fine, even has a 14-Day free trial, but simply won't work on the Zune and doesn't offer some options that we think are pretty great.

Songs from the Zune Pass (Zune's answer to the Rhapsody subscription) play on your Xbox via stream.

Songs from you Zune Pass play on you Xbox if you connect your Zune to the Xbox via the USB cable.

You can't do that with Rhapsody, … sorry.

I've been using Rhapsody/Sansa for the past 1.5 years and just got a Zune. Started to compare the 2 and Rhapsody has a way better selection and is easier to use than the Zune Pass.
    WTF Microsoft?

BTW "I unDRM my music using FairUse4WM, and it plays fine on my Zune. " That is a federal offense as it is against the law to do that.

I used Rhapsody for a while. However the Zune can do things that Apple and others cannot. I think Microsoft is smart to make it for their own. By the way, EVERY song I found on Rhapsody (over 12,000 I have on my 80 GB Zune) also are on the Zune Marketplace. Tivo is pointless as Comcast gives that to you including ALL high def channels in the fomr of their own DVR which works with the Comcast service. TIVO SUCKS!

That's pretty bad reasons, Rhapsody you can hook up to Tivo. Where's your Tivo?!?

I use Rhapsody and Napster for my music because the Zune Pass just doesn't have the artists or playlists (not to mention suggestion features) I want. I unDRM my music using FairUse4WM, and it plays fine on my Zune.
