Zune / xBox Wifi Connectivity In The Next 60 Days - You Heard It Here First
Posted on 8:55 am by Team Zune LuvWith the recent Zune game announcements, something has become obvious, they're gonna tie the Zune in with the xBox. Consider this quote, "A handful of these games are now available as trials on the Xbox Live Marketplace." Do we need anything more than that?
And, of course, there is always the "consider the obvious" angle here as well. This is what Microsoft needs to do.
What will this mean or look like? Well, we've got two options - wifi connectivity and usb connectivity. Microsoft has always said that they installed wifi versus Bluetooth or IR for sharing music because of the additional possibilities. Since the Zune game reports tell us of wifi multiplayer gaming, we know Microsoft is holding true to that promise - and we can reasonable assume that such is coming.
And, somehow, USB connectivity just doesn't make the kind of sexy press release the Zune guys need right now.
Now, of course, if the Zune and the xBox connect to share games, could music and video content be that far behind?

[…] Can't talk conspiracies without talking Microsoft. That hardware can do everything Apple TV and do right now - AND IT PLAYS GAMES THAT DO BIGGER SALES THAN HOLLYWOOD. Do the math on this one. […]

Zune Live | Zune Luv (Pingback)
[…] What is Zune Live? Is it part of xBox like we predicted earlier, is it something entirely different? Is there an option for us to connect to Zune content over the Internet directly? Will our Mac friends finally get to play with the Zune? […]
