Have any of our readers seen the Podcast yet? Any fans of the band? Fill us in.

Funny I found this while searching for metal podcasts, because I just got some footage from that band for our latest video podcast

They certainly are hard on the unfamiliar ear, but for those of us that can distinguish and are used to this type of music, you can definitely see the tightness and extreme talent. Believe it or not, it is insanely hard to be able to scream like that, takes a lot of practice, check out the drummer as well! WOW.
  • Well, let me just say that The Black Dahlia Murder is a little more, um, metal than my usual listening fare. The band is really tight (they play together really well), but the vocalist is of the screechy shouty Andrew W.K. variety. They're alternately classified as "death metal" or "metalcore," the fine nuanced differences that distinguish those two kind of elude me.

That said, they're good if you like really, really metal metal.
