Did You Get A New Zune For Christmas? Here Are 5 Things To Do With It Today.

Posted on 2:58 pm by Team Zune Luv
A LOT of people got a shiny new Zune for Christmas. Congrats - you are going to love the device. Here are 5 things you can do with your Zune today - without spending a dime.

1 - Sign up for your 14 day free trial of the Zune Pass. The card for the signup came with your new Zune. Check it out - it is a lot of fun.

2 - Grab 25 free MP3s from eMusic.com. These are yours forever.

3 - Sign up for some Podcasts. Some of our favorites include the Zune Brothers, Today in Podcasting and the New Media Matters Show. You can click on those first two and you'll automatically be subscribed. That third one requires an email address - but is well worth it.

4 - Join the Zune Social by getting yourself a Zune card. Once you've done that, grab some Zune friends in the social. Your author's card is here and he'd love to learn what you're listening to.

5 - Enjoy the music and Podcasts. There is simply nothing like watching and listening to what you want to watch and listen, when you want to watch and listen to them. From Podcasts to Music to Videos, you'll find plenty to consume.

Merry Christmas fellow ZuneLuver - and … Welcome to the Social.

I got a new Zune and it works great. I have one question though. When I tried to download some Frank Zappa music from the zune store, all his music was listed but said it wasn't available for download. Is there something I have to do special to get it or is it just not released to the public? If thats so, then why list him as an artist? I'm sure there must be other artist that are greyed out too.

I am sorry for the late reply i just came across this forum because i was interested in the zune store and all it has to offer. I remember reading something on zune.net that told about the zune store and it said that some songs are in AAC PROTECTED format or something like that. The protected songs can;t be bought with a zune card pass thingy but you can directly buy them using your credit card. Also i dono if you may know this but do you know if you lose all your downloaded songs from the zune store after your pass runs out. Also where can i buy a zune pass.
