Isn't The Apple iPod The Standard?
The Association For Downloadable Media announced their election results and Zune's own Rob Greenlee is on the "Board of Advisors."
First off - congrats - great news. Nice to be involved without throwing too much weight around.
Where is Apple in that list?
I mean, they are the standard for downloadable media, right?
Yeah, I don't see them either.

I'm having a hard time understanding the point of this post. Assuming the four MP3 and podcast links are from Google, then they're paid ads. So are you questioning why Apple doesn't have a paid Google ad for its iTunes store?
Maybe it's because the iTunes store IS the standard and so others need more advertising?
Most all initial Google results for products are paid for by commercial entities.
and the point you are trying to make?
does apple need to be on every board out there? stop trolling.
And please tell us why Apple even needs to be a member of this association anyways? Sounds like an organization TRYING to get Apple into their association so they can make them feel like they are big players…NOT!
What do they even do? Do they need an association to sell downloadable media? What a joke.
Who elected them & what the hell is the Assoc. of downloadable media?
Only an ignorant idiot would knowingly buy a zoooon over an ipod. Live in denial all you want. All MS products belong in the garbage.
