Zune 2 Works Great On The Mac With Parallels

We have a few Mac users here at Zuneluv Central and they love the new Zune as well.

How could this be possible? Isn’t that sacrilegious?

Our Mac users are running the Zune software in Parallels Desktop for Mac

(That's the software that lets you run Windows right in the Mac interface). Yes, Bootcamp is an option as well but we’re in the “why choose when you can have both?” school around here.

And, BTW, they aren’t even running Parallels 3. It works splendid out of the box in Parallels 2.

Wireless sync works too. It’s the whole Zune experience in one of those shiny MacBook Pros.

Now you know.

I wonder what Jobs thinks about that one.

Does parallels allow them to use the music off the Mac HD? I am trying to get the original zune to work but am having problems.
  • Yes.
Through a hack called XNJB (though it seems the the only thing it can do is display the contents of the Zune, not modify it in any way)
