Get Your Zune Card - No Zune Required
It seems like that Zune is finally getting that social we've been looking for.
According to Wired, the Zune update scheduled for next week includes a feature where community members "(no Zune required) will be able to create an online profile called a Zune Card, with their own image, background, bio, music listening habits, and currently-playing song."
The no Zune required is an interesting element that we haven't heard of yet.
Makes sense though.
I wonder how many Zune Cards we'll see popping up all over the Internet.
Maybe we'll keep links to some of our favorites here at ZuneLuv.com.

I think that this is going to be a really unique feature of the Zune social experience. Let's just hope that the color and layout are very customizable, so that we can all fit them to the color scheme of our sites.
Also, check out this great first review (audio) of the Zunes by CNET's MP3 Insider podcast:

Interesting reveal: You can unsubscribe from a podcast from your Zune and it will unsubscribe you the next time you sync.

Glad to know that Microsoft is not giving up the fight. I would've hated it if the group shut down like Andy Inhatko (or whatever that journalist's name is) predicted last year. Some of the stuff mentioned on the Wired bog, like the artist advertisements are good for both artists and consumers. Good job, Microsoft.
