Drop the brown jacket like the brown trout it is. They've been shootin' the browns out of Woot like crazy (flushing the inventory?), better to dump and run (so to speak), and save what dignity you have left. (who'd had chosen brown on purpose?)

Jacket Brown - When you get a Zune2 (you know you want one), go red. It's time to stand out, be bold, turn that brown upside-down.

Brown is so earthy. It's part of my northwest culture. Keep the suggestions coming, because its a hard choice to make.

Since my last suggestion wasn't taken, here's a few more: Sergeant Pepper, Black Jacket, Major Crimson, Jack Black.

Zune 30 is still BROWN !

Zune brown will start a company that creates cool sticker graphics for computers and mp3 players after a few years of glorious success and changing his look every few days he will run for a local political office and work his way up until he becomes president proving at his inauguration speech he will remiss about how as a young zune he was rejected because of his color but the great freedoms of america allowed him to achieve all he ever wished for he will thank his mother, bill gates, and all the wonderful people who brought brown zunes.

Brown is too "last year" . That's what they said when they came up with the avocado green Zune. Adapt to the changing times. Embrace the dark side. The one Zune to rule 'em all is black.

It seems to me that that only problem with your zune was the shell. So I think you may as well have some fun with it. Just melt it down into a little brown pile, drive out to the Redmond campus, and put it on a busy sidewalk. Now grab your video camera and entertain us with a new you tube video.

If Jacket Brown wants to sport a new 80GB model there are 3rd party companies out there that do allow you to skin your Zune. There no skins yet for Gen 2, but you can pretty much wrap it with any graphic you like from people like www.decalgirl.com ( http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/2,230.htm ) and www.skinit.com - (http://www.skinit.com/devices/mp3_player/zune_mp3_player ). So you could sport brown with your own personal logo, text, or cool graphic from one of the limited edition models. He could go both Green and Brown just by switching out the skin.
The only thing is some skins may not work with the squircal if it uses thermoelectic properties like other PMPs out there.

Heck he cold even keep the Brown Zune and just use the new updated Zune 2 software and not spend a dime.

Personally I would do both keep the old and purchase a new one and see which one you like better (I am leaning towards the 80GB Zune 2) and skin the new one maybe even with a ZuneLuv logo on the back.

Stay Brown. Wait for them to release a Brown Zune.

The Brown was one of a kind and now is a collector's item.
I suggest you go Project Red to show your charitable support in ending someone elses pain since you now have a better understanding of internal pain….(the video was heart felt)

Why not make it permanently attached to your TV and have a makeshift wireless media center. You can wirelessly stream audio and videos to it and use your new zune on the road.

Either that or if your up to it permanently attach it in your car to have your music collection in your car syncing wirelessly. Same idea, just in your car instead.

Ok I completely misread the contest. What I would do is get an ingraved zune (green if you must) and on the back write "Brownie: We'll never forget" or something along those lines. That way when you're listening to your tuned you can flip the zune over and remember the good old days.
