Zune As A Hard Drive

With all of the Zune 2 excitement around this place (and, gosh darn it, around the net), there are a number of people asking, wondering, blogging, etc. if there is anyway to use the new Zune (or the newly updated "old" Zunes as a hard drive.

The answer at this point is no. And no, it's not a "we haven't heard yet" kinda thing - it's a "we have heard and the Zune as hard drive feature is something that ain't coming out at the release of the new Zune.

Will there be a hack to support it one day? Yeah, probably, but at this point we got nothing official coming from Microsoft.

And, yes, we thing Zune as a hard drive would be nice too!
