MicrosoftZune.com - Sorry, Not The Right Domain For Zune (At Least, Not Yet)

Is MicrosoftZune.com the right domain name? Sorry, no … the right domain name is Zune.net. Of course, we're big fans of ZuneLuv.com ourselves.

As we've reported previously, Zune.com is not owned by Microsoft. In short, when you visit www.zune.com, you'll get an error page. You can click the links above to get the full story.

MicrosoftZune.com also brings up an error page, but this time, we're not able to to tell you who owns that one. It's held by the GoDaddy Domains By Proxy service. We'd bet someone bought it hoping Microsoft would snatch it from them for a profit but Redmond's history with domains proves that the chances of this are slim to none.

Zune.net people, that's where the official Microsoft Web Action is.
