Zune 2.0 Rumor Roundup

In case you haven't turned on your computer today, we thought we'd let you know that there are some rumors floating around about the launch of Zune 2.0. To this point, none of the rumors out there say anything about the new Zune supporting Podcasting.

But, then again, these are all rumors.

Engadget writes that sources tell them we're looking at a Zune Firmware upgrade ANNOUNCEMENT on Wednesday. That's it.

Actually, they offer another article with a few "pictures" of the second Zune. Could be shopped, could be real I guess.

Beta News claims bigger things. In short, they talk of an event at Microsoft to be held on Tuesday "to herald the second generation of Zune music players." That one sounds very fishy to me as well but they point to a November release date for Zune 2 - something that we can all file away as obvious.

Gizmodo also offers this re-hash of what they've heard from other places.

I wish I had some Zune Podcasting rumors to share but at this point I don't.
