Is Zune Heir To The Portable Media Center Platform?

Over at PaulColligan.com, I asked the question - is Zune the heir to the recently retired Microsoft Portable Media Center Platform?

If you think about it - it makes a lot of sense. Microsoft has to have a portable video strategy. And if the Portable Media Center ain't it - who else get's the job?
