Zune vs iPod

7 things my Zune does that my Video iPod never did. In this Zune vs iPod comparison - the Zune wins!

#1 - Lets me watch whatever video I want to watch. WMV, MP4, etc. … doesn't matter. The Zune software transcodes the video in a format that looks great on my Zune. Let someone else worry about "compatibility."

#2 - Lets me listen to whatever song I want to listen to. Oh yeah, the Zune will set up the audio formats for you as well.

#3 - Lets me listen to radio. I'll admit - it is happening less and less - but it sure is nice. Knowing what song they're playing is pretty cool too!

#4 - Lets me update my MP3 album art without some funky database. Update album art in the Zune desktop software and it updates the MP3. This way, I can see the artwork on my XBox, or iPod, or anything else I might view it on. BTW, if I change the artwork in iTunes, I can only see the artwork in iTunes.

#5 - Lets me share with my friends with the click of a button. Yeah, it ain't perfect yet - but it sure is better than my iPod alternatives.

#6 - Lets me listen to subscription music. Sometimes I want the album forever - sometimes I'm just in the mood. Zune lets me have both options.

#7 - Lets me watch a video without losing my mind. Yes, I understand the screen resolutions are the same but video on Zune is just easier on the eyes than video on a video iPod.

Zune ain't perfect but when you compare Zune vs iPod, you realize the iPod ain't perfect either.

    Zunes are definitly better. the screens are bigger for movies and videos, the online songs are cheaper to buy shall i continue?

    which one can play a better music? I mean the quality of the sound that you hear. I not sure about this, but I think the Zune is better. When I play it in my car, Zune is very clean with perfect bass. On the other hand, Ipod is too much bass, and not that clean. So, what you say?

    I like my Zune a lot I like the big screen, the radio the quality of the screen. I am glad I bought it intead of the Ipod.

    The Zune and Ipod are both great but i think the Ipod takes it. Ipod was the original and are coming out with the Iphone and probably more. there are several different ipods with differnt amounts of storage and sizes and theres only one type of zune. The great feature about zune is sending music from one person to another but in my opinion apple is better.

    zune is better because you can put videos on it but the ipod video islike the same thing but i dount know if they can get the radio

    Zune sucks. I loved it at first but then the screen started getting these dark block splotches like the pixels were beginning to degrade. I called cust. supp. and guess what? The screen is excluded in their warranty. My warranty book doesn't say that but they refused to honor it and fix it. What good is a 300$ piece of crap video device with no screen, no matter how cool it is or was, that is one of it's major selling points. If they would fix mine, I would be happy again because I would have at least gotten my money's worth. But m,ine was only 45 days old when it started screwing up! It is now almost 100 days old and it has gotten worse. What does that say about them and teir company!?
