Cuban's Got A Plan

I've always thought that it wouldn't be that hard for a big player to dethrone Apple in this game. They've got the hearts and souls of a lot of fanboys (of which I wonder if I am included at times) - but they don't always have the numbers.

That's part of why I'm so passionate about Microsoft and/or Zune getting into the Podcasting game. Once Microsoft launches their Podcasting initiative (and they will, it's just a question of when), they will have a huge chunk of the market (and increase the market considerably at the same time). Long sentence yes, but big thought.

Microsoft obviously thought that just the launch of their Zune player would do the damage, and result in the market play they're "known" for.

It's obvious, already, that this didn't work.

Mark Cuban ran the numbers and offers some very interesting ways for Google and/or Microsoft to easily slide into Apple's game for what I bet would cost them less than they're spending now on Zune.

Read it and consider, … I'd love your thoughts.
