Zune Upgrades Firmware At Install

At Zune install found something very interesting … the firmware needs upgrading before you can first use it.

That's right, not only can the thing be easily upgraded - but the need for it (already) happened somewhere between production and release.

Out of the box, it comes neither charged nor Wifi enabled. The firmware upgrade fixes the second problem. A few hours on the USB cable fixes the first.

Come on Microsoft, send us that easy to upgrade version release that let's us receive those Podcasts …
