Zune.com - Not a Microsoft Domain Yet

ZuneMax asks if Zune.com is now owned by Microsoft, what with her new cheesy Flash animation that makes no sense - as it seems to be in the same "genre" of the other cheesy Flash animation Zune sites owned by Microsoft that also made no sense.

As reported back in August, Zune.com is still owned by a British firm with a domain name hosted in Spain. A simple whois lookup will get you that information. Database was "last updated" on November 2, but none of the contact information has changed. Database updated happen on a fairly regular basis in the whois database.

In terms of the cheesy flash animation - Microsoft has been pretty cheesy in Zune marketing these days but, … it is obvious they are in "show off the logo, push the accessories, etc." mode. I'd bet a microbrew this is someone try to keep a look and feel "Zunelike" for some serious Adsense and affiliate revenue.

Sorry Zunemax, I think you got this one wrong.
