Coming Zune in the Seattle Weekly

The first comprehensive article I've seen (ever) about Zune, goals, etc., was published in the Seattle Weekly today.

It is required reading for anyone trying to make sense out of this. It's a puff piece - but there is some good content within.

My big take home from this is that they're betting a lot of the farm on the Wifi capabilties - certainly more than I realized at this point. They're serious about the community options here and are focussing their attention accordingly. It's a fascinating goal, but as I said in my previous post, the viral action they're going for here has a history of working well on free products - of which Zune most certainly is not.

I mean, let's be honest, what it is the chance of enough people in the same room having a Zune to make these features viable/valuable?

And for someone who is into community so much - how come no offer to a single Blogger for the event this week?
