why is it so hard to contact Zune about repair questions?

Why does my zune not like me? I gave it a good home and loved it! Maybe I smothered it?... How do I fix It? It say firmwire issue etc.

This zune thing sucks!!!! I got it for a b-day gift from my friend when i requested it. Now the stupid thing won't work at all! It won't charge or come on at all! So i called the 800 number to get help and they said that they would replace it! The catch is that i have music from djs at dont dj annymore and dont have copys of the mixs i've put on my zune. iI'm like the only person in the city with his old mixs. So zune support says they will send me another one but I wont be able to get my music back. Thats only the half of it I cant seem to download the software to my laptop since my old new got damaged in the floods. sSo they are giving a new one that i cant even put any music on!!! Really wish I would have asked for an Ipod. I dont know anyone thats had as many problems as I've had with this DAMNED zune!!!

I have been trying to find the answer to this problem with no luck so far anywhere on the net. I have a zune and I put music and videos on it. I can see the progress bar moving on the music and I can see the videos playing but I don't get any sound from any head phones or external speakers. I turned on the radio and the sound plays on headphones and speakers. I have seen others with this problem and they all say do a hard reset on the zune but that doesn't work. I have done that a couple of times. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THE HELP.

i can not load from a cd to my zune direct. do i have to download to my computer first? this only started when i upgraded after not using my zune for almost a year.

I think the zune is the best type of music (and much other stuff!) player! It holds alot more songs and is a nifty little thing. You'll enjoy this product!!!!!

please ask your vendors to explain the warranty on the zune music video player english hdw in detail. bought my granddaughter one , 90 days ago, thinking all the time , since i was told that when i bought it, that i had a year's warranty at the store. now since it has been damaged do i find out that the warranty at the store is only for 30 days. i didn't buy the manufacture's warranty, since i thought i had a years' warranty at the store.
so, now i don't know when she will get another one. something so expensive should have a warranty for a year when they purchase it, then after that buy another warranty, if they want it. this grandmother is very upset about this.

Almost 90% of this article is false....... Zune.com is owned by some guy in Spain, the page you see on archive.org is the default page for an IIS installation, and you saying that Microsoft doesn't know what an MP3 is? MP3 files weren't made 2 years ago, they have been around for a while....you guys need to do your reasearch a little bit more :/

I can't say that the zune is better quite yet because i am having a major issue that no one knows how to fix around me. i was looking through itunes for videos and all of a sudden, zune said it needed to turn off and i said ok. I was questioned but i looked at it afterward and nothing appeared. i still have the file where everythng on the device got everything on but when i load the program but nothing will laod onto it, I've tried to rip CD's back into the it but nothing. I would like to buy a Zune Player I would like to know when the next generation of Zune's will be coming out. I retire in Sept. and would like to get one by then but, I also would like to know when the new model will be on the Market. A family member purchased one and said that they are having some problems and they also think the new model would have the problems worked out.

I think they can take zune.com off the owner for cyber squatting however the owner of ZuneMarketplace.com is sitting on a goldmine. Although I can't see MicroSoft buying this and am convinced that it will be sold for a very high price once Zune is established. I have seen zunexbox360.com on afternic.com, this is just another example of a good url. Consequently, ZuneMarketplace.com was on sedo.com until monday selling at $1,499 it was then taken off????
