According to rumors, Zune will have a store much the same way iPod has iTunes. Here are five things I'd love to see in the Zune store that would seriously make me reconsider the role of the iPod in my life.

• Podcasting and Premium Podcasting Support with a Great Podcasting Directory - Now, admittingly, this would mean Microsoft would be pushing content that it doesn't directly make money on, but it would increase the value of the Zune considerably. Without such integration, Zune is worthless. Want to be very Microsoft in your approach? Highlight Podcasts available in WMA or WMV format.
• Plug-ins, Add-ins, Support, WhateverYouWantToCallIt For Non DRMd Music Options - Sites like and the Podsafe Music Network are just as valid as whatever DRMd nonsense they throw our way.
• A Record of Songs Purchased and The Ability to Redownload If You've Lost the Song - My biggest beef against iTunes can be a real selling point for Zune. Btw, supports it.
• Easy Option / Marketplace for Content Providers to Sell Their Content - Beat Apple to the punch. How much would that burn Jobs' butt?
• Zune MVP Program At Launch - Help the fans, those who are feeling the Zune Luv, to help others feel the same. Of course, your gonna need to make fans out of us first.

Just a dream? You can't blame me for dreaming. You also can't deny some of logic here I hope.
